Administered by Sport BC, the BC Amateur Sport Fund is the BC chapter of the Canadian Council of Provincial & Territorial Sport Federations (“CCPTSF”), a Registered Canadian Amateur Athletics Association with charitable status (registration number 88938 6868 RR0001) established in 1980 to support amateur athletics across Canada. The CCPTSF partners with the amateur sport federation in each Canadian jurisdiction to achieve its objectives.

Through Sport BC and its member Provincial Sport Organizations, the Fund seeks to provide financial support for projects that align with at least one of the objectives of the Canada Sport Policy:

Introduction to Sport – promotion of sport to encourage participation

Recreational Sport – participation in sport for fun, health, and social interaction

Competitive Sport – improvement and measurement of performance against others in competition in a safe and ethical manner

High Performance Sport – achievement of world-class results at the highest levels of national and international competition

Sport for Development- sport as a tool for social and economic development and the promotion of positive values at home and abroad

How to Donate:
Via credit card: Complete the donor information for below. To make an at-large gift to amateur sport please give to the BCASF’s General fund – the first item in the dropdown menus below. The Fund will ensure your gift goes to benefit a wide range of amateur athletes in BC.

To support a specific project, please first choose the sport/organization, then the project from the dropdown menu below.

Other ways to donate: Donors can make their gift via cheque or with marketable securities. Please email us at bcasf@sportbc.com for further details.

Why Donate:
The BC Amateur Sport Fund provides an opportunity for individuals and organizations to contribute financially to sport programs to benefit current amateur athletes and future generations. Funds raised are used to ensure quality sporting opportunities will be available to amateur athletes throughout British Columbia.

(CCPTSF) and the BC Amateur Sport Fund to benefit the development of amateur sport in Canada on a nation-wide basis.
