BC Amateur Sport Fund

Cycling BC’s Youth Development Fund

This project supports school programs, camps, and clinics to teach grassroots fundamentals and youth development. The project also funds youth race leagues, coaching, and officiating. The project’s goal is to develop youth skills at an early age and provide opportunities to complete at various levels of the LTAD model for all disciplines in the sport of cycling.

Administered by Sport BC, the BC Amateur Sport Fund ("BCASF") is the BC chapter of the Canadian Council of Provincial & Territorial Sport Federations ("CCPTSF"), a Registered Canadian Amateur Athletic Association with charitable status (CRA number 88938 6868 RR0001). The CCPTSF was established in 1980 to benefit amateur sport across Canada by supporting projects like this. The BCASF was previously known as the “National Sport Trust Fund”, or “NSTF”. The Fund changed its name in August 2019 to more accurately reflect its fundraising and granting activities.
