The British Columbia Provincial Football Association is the governing body for amateur football in British Columbia and is a member of Football Canada. The Association’s Athlete Development Fund project aims to support young football players to cover costs related to training camps, and regional, national, and international competitions. Costs associated with accommodation and transportation can be financial barriers to many possible program participants. Donations made to support this project will help make athlete development more affordable and enable more promising football players to develop their skills through effective coaching and competition.

Administered by Sport BC, the BC Amateur Sport Fund ("BCASF") is the BC chapter of the Canadian Council of Provincial & Territorial Sport Federations ("CCPTSF"), a Registered Canadian Amateur Athletic Association with charitable status (CRA number 88938 6868 RR0001). The CCPTSF was established in 1980 to benefit amateur sport across Canada by supporting projects like this. The BCASF was previously known as the “National Sport Trust Fund”, or “NSTF”. The Fund changed its name in August 2019 to more accurately reflect its fundraising and granting activities.
